Admissions Process - Nepali Students
Eligibility
Admission to BBA level is offered to a limited number of qualified candidates, who must fulfill the eligibility criteria as prescribed by International American University and laid down herein:
- Intermediate or Higher Secondary Examination (of twelve years' formal education in any stream: Arts, Commerce, Science, Engineering or Technology), passed with a minimum aggregate score of 50 % or above from a recognized board/university.
- GCE 'A' Level passed with a minimum GPA of 'B' or above.
Admission Procedure
On receipt of the duly filled up Application along with the necessary enclosures consisting of:
- Transfer/Character Certificates issued by the Schools/Institutions/Colleges attended
- Transcript of School Leaving Certificate & Higher Secondary Examinations
- Citizenship Certificate
- Two recent passport sized photographs
- Certificates (if any) of Merit/Achievement
Prospective students are required to sit for an entrance examination and an interview. Candidates will be offered admission based on the admission committee's assessment of the prospective students' past performance, entrance examination, interview, and ability to contribute to the degree programme.
Based on the outcome of these procedures, LIC will eventually determine the eligibility of the applicants, who will be duly notified. LIC reserves the right to accept or deny admission to any candidate without assigning any reason whatsoever.
Eligibility for Enrolment
Students who have successfully completed or expect to successfully complete, Intermediate or Higher Secondary examination with minimum second division are eligible to apply.
Enrolment Pre-requisites
Candidates should apply in the prescribed Application for Admission Form, which is enclosed in the application packet. Application packets can be picked up from the college or downloaded from our website.
All applicants must submit the following with the application form:
- Duly completed application form together with two passport-size photographs; Certified copies of all relevant academic/professional qualifications and transcripts;
- Application processing fee of NRs. 250/-.
Admissions Process - International Students
Admissions for the BBA degree program commencing in August 2008 are now open. Completed applications should reach as early as possible. Last date - July 15, 2008.
Eligibility Requirements:

Pre-Education: The College will require completion of 2 years of college-level course work or evidence of an associate's degree, or equivalent.
International Students ( except Indian Students require study visa to study in Nepal)
For faster communication students may fax or courier photocopies of their class 10 and 12 mark sheets. But please do not send scanned copies by email. Please write your postal address, email address/ phone/ fax numbers on the admission application. At the time of joining the student must present, the original mark sheets and pass certificates of the qualifying board examinations - Class XII & X/ 'A' & 'O' levels, proof of birth, medical fitness certificate and character certificate. Admission is confirmed only after scrutiny of the original certificates and receipt of all fees.
The college working hours are from 10 AM to 5 PM. Saturday is the weekly day off all over Nepal. Sundays are working days. Should you have further queries, kindly contact at the following address and if possible visit the college on any working day. |
